Recruitment International 01/08/2005

MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE!! Sarah Patterson, a Director of Colwyn Bay based Supertemps Ltd, recently undertook the Welsh 3000s Mountain Challenge in aid of Hope House Children's Hospice.

Sarah raised £1000 for the Hospice by climbing all 15 of Snowdonia's 3000ft+ peaks in under 24 hours. After sleeping on Snowdon's summit Sarah set out at 5am with team mate Tim Underhill. They completed the challenge in 22 gruelling hours.

The entire route is 27 miles long and contains a total ascent of 13,000ft. To date the record for completing the challenge is 4 hours 19 minutes as set by fell runner Colin Donnelly on 11th June 1988. It remains one of the finest routes and mountain challenges in the British Isles today.
